Narendra Modi and Tamilnadu Politices

26 september 2013
Narendra Modi Guj CM and BJP's Prime Ministerial Candidate visited Tiruchy, in Tamilnadu and addressed a rally.
For the first time in the history of secular India and Tamilnadu on the eve of Modi's visit two minority educational institutes ( Jamal Mohammed College and MIET) were ordered to declare holiday for two days and the hostel students of these two colleges were also ordered to vacate their rooms and come back only after Modi's rally is over.
When contacted with the police commissioner he denied any such order from the police department. But the hostel students confirmed that they were asked by the police personal to vacate the rooms. The management of the colleges are confirmed the police ordering them orally to declare holiday for two days.  The management obeyed the police order and kept their colleges closed for two days.  It happened in this democratic country.

It seems that BJP is paying the Police Officers to harass the Minorities. BJP is propagating that there is MODI wave in the state. The truth is there is no such wave here. No body likes Modi except for BJP and RSS minded people who are trying for more than two decades to communalise the Tamilnadu Politics.
Some Muslim and Secular Organisations protested against Modi's visit to Tamilnadu with black flags in front of Secretariat and other places in Chennai , Madurai and Tirchy.

BJP is trying to woo DMDK and MDMK apart from famous film actor Rajni Kanth to have an alliance for 2014 elections.  Though DMDK and MDMK have given signs of joining hands with BJP, Mr. Rajni Kanth has not yet given any signal.  Mr. Rajni Kanth so far is a non-controversial personality and people of Tamilnadu respects him a lot.  Even Muslims are his fans. If he join hands with BJP he will loose his Muslim fan base and he will also loose his reputation.

In short Tamilnadu is not for MODI and even for INDIA.
